Breakthrough Tests Show Significant PM2.5/PM10 Reduction for Low-Smoke, Sulfur-Free Fireworks

 

In a notable move toward greener pyrotechnics, the Fireworks and Firecrackers Industry Development Center of Liuyang, Hunan Province, recently convened six local fireworks manufacturers to conduct centralized testing of newly developed low-smoke, sulfur-free fireworks products.

At the live testing session, six prominent China fireworks enterprises showcased their latest micro-smoke, sulfur-free designs, ranging from ground fountains to high-altitude aerial shells. Comparative evaluations indicate clear quality improvements across five major product categories, including fountains, display shells, combination fireworks, and firecrackers.

The products demonstrated during this test will be officially unveiled at the 17th Liuyang Fireworks Cultural Festival, where they will compete in the 5th Xiang-Gan Creative Fireworks Competition and the 12th Hunan Fireworks New Product Evaluation Contest. Visitors and industry professionals will have the opportunity to see the new low-smoke, sulfur-free offerings in live display conditions.
